Can't believe it has been months since I was last here. The mad busy wedding season definately kept me out of mischief and of course my cheap wedding site.
Things have been going from strength to strength and visitors are now above 200 people a day!! Which is fantastic and I can't quite believe that this all started only in February 2007. Back then I knew nothing about web design and marketing my website to get lots of traffic, but using sitebuilder block building has helped me put it all together.
If anyone is interested in having a go, this shows you how I have been able to make a good income and still be at home with my kids.

Thinking of hiring a wedding event planner?
If you are getting stressed with all of the details planning your wedding, it might be worth looking at hiring a wedding planner. Some can be worth their weight in gold and others you may be best without.
Those that are great will be able to save you a fortune with their contacts in the wedding industry, that is if they pass on the commission to you.
When you look to hire a wedding event planner check out their references, make sure you have seen originals of their insurance and business information.
Ask if they pass on the commission from suppliers and find out how they charge you. Some will charge a flat rate based on numbers and/or time they will spend on your wedding, others will be a percentage of total costs.

Site's moving forward!

In my quest to have the site provide me with an income to be a work at home mum I have learnt a lot. Traffic to the site is up month on month and there is growing interest from companies wanting to advertise on the site. I am holding off having advertisers at the moment to build a content filled site which will continue to attract visitors but I am pleased with the way the site is looking and the positive responses from visitors. Hope to be earning some money soon!

30 visitors!
Ready to do a small victory dance as 30 people visited my www.cheap-wedding-solutions.com site yesterday!
I am pleased as the site has only been up for 2 weeks - might be able to make some money out of the site soon by selling advertising space. Then all these late nights and big bags will have been worth it.
Cheap weddings have got to be the way to go, costs have risen so much and it is not necessary to spend so much money. Being clever with where you spend your money is the key.
The holy grail of working from home might be sooner than you think. Watch this space to see if it is possible to be a stay at home mum and still earn money, legally! ;o)

Time to stay at home and earn money!
Well today is the first day of collating my progress in trying to attain my ultimate goal of staying at home and looking after my two lovely children. Oh forgot to say and also earning money to be able to stay at home!
I have started up www.cheap-wedding-solutions.com and will be hoping to review my progress here on how this final try at being a stay at home mum works. Wish me luck!
By final try I mean that I have tried most things, Herbalife, Kleeneze, setting up my own business, proofreading, so this has got to work!
